What to Wear On Your Period

Updated: Nov 18, 2020

Why am I posed like this? Because it’s that horrible time of the month where I can’t wear whatever I want when I want to and I feel gross😩⁣

On the plus side, there are options, but those ‘white skirt with confidence’ ad’s can shove it..⁣

Black is the most obvious answer because it can buy you a bit of time if anything goes wrong and it has slimming powers. Maybe you don’t want to wear black though? Here’s some tips: ⁣

🌸 if you’re going to wear a skirt or shorts, wear something loose up top and a little longer than usual. This covers any bloat and possibly down past the no-go-zone. I usually would wear stockings for an extra thin piece of mind⁣

🌸 Layers: chuck on an overshirt or jacket that you can easily tie around if there’s any unexpected events ⁣

🌸 Slip dress: if you want next to nothing to touch you, this is perfect because it’s still stylish, comes in so many variable colours and lengths and easily dressed up or down ⁣

🌸 Knit dress: comfort. Comfort. Comfort. Available in so many different cuts and styles. ⁣

🌸 Period undies: I haven’t tried them, but have heard great things about Thinx and Modibodi. People even wear them to festivals as their outfit, so they’re more than just ugly granny pants.
